If you are pressuring yourself to play well, be cautious. Don’t rush. Give some attention to details of the game. You have playing experience. You’re under pressure. Try falling in love with a new attitude to use this experience to greater benefit.
If the pressure of the game is big don’t push ahead as you have been. Your game won’t benefit. You’ll overcome pressure by abiding by the correct principles of balance in your game. When you overcome this don’t think that it is all that important or you may backslide.
Your experienced golf game has an attitude that is too different for it. This attitude may not last long. But it will be helpful for as long as it lasts. This kind of pressure for game means you are in over your head. Maybe it’s the compassion, expectation, a difficult course. Don’t blame yourself.
In any situation where you have found trouble, don’t blame yourself. It is temporary. When you drive off the fairway, you have left good principles of golf behind. You usually have plenty of anger. Just make the correction. Get back with the correct principles. It can be that easy. When you haven’t learned the correct attitude in dealing with trouble (and you found more), everything falls apart. There is almost hatred. Temper it or you’ll poison all subsequent shots.
This is the kind of trouble where you merely have to correct the situation. Just be determined and go forward. This kind of trouble breeds plans. Sometimes going ahead with these plans doesn’t work. You haven’t learned from before. This is a time when your judgment isn’t good. You shouldn’t trust it in dealing with trouble on the course.
You’ll have to listen better. You should only persist in troublesome shot after ruminating and thinking thing through rather than trying to break through an obstacle immediately. Using force immediately is definitely out of the question.
Only after thought and contemplation should you be vigorous and go forward. This applied to whether you are in danger or not. Just remember don’t blame yourself and learn from your mistakes.
